WHEN A CLIENT SITS IN YOUR CHAIR
— Offer the option - never assume. "We offer hair donation through Conscious Cut. Would you like to hear more?"
— If yes — client scans the QR code and completes the digital consent form. Takes 30 seconds.
— Cut the hair as normal.
— Band the hair, place it in a Conscious Cut envelope, hand your client the insert and seal it.
— Store with your GSC collection. It leaves with your usual pickup.
That's it. No weighing, no sorting, no extra paperwork.

It goes through our verified supply chain - ethical professional reuse, charitable redistribution, or environmental recycling. Every strand is tracked. Nothing is wasted. You can tell them that with confidence.

Without consent logged, the hair can't enter the Conscious Cut chain. That's the whole point - consent first. But the form takes 30 seconds, it's a QR scan, it will become second nature.

All hair has value. We're not just looking for long ponytail donations - shorter hair can be used for padding, practice pieces, and other professional applications. Nothing is wasted.

We provide guidance but it's really simple: "We offer the option to donate your cut hair through Conscious Cut - it's consent-led and fully traceable. Would you like to hear more?" That's it. No pressure, no pitch.

Honestly, no. The QR form takes 30 seconds. Putting hair in an envelope takes 10 seconds. It's less effort than sweeping the floor.

Once the client consents and the hair enters the Conscious Cut chain, it's managed by The Identity House through our verified supply chain.

Those require minimum lengths, specific conditions, and the hair goes one direction - charity wigs. Conscious Cut accepts all hair, tracks it through multiple ethical routes, and the donor has full transparency on where it goes. It's a system, not a charity drive.

Nothing is wasted. Hair that isn't suitable for professional reuse goes to environmental recycling. Every strand has a destination. That's the point of the three routes.

The form is managed by us. We handle the data. The salon doesn't store anything. We're fully GDPR compliant.

Absolutely! Once hair has made it to our hair library, it will have a full description. Even previously coloured hair can still be in great condition, and have plenty of uses!

The consent form is the protection. It's logged, dated, and stored. If consent was given through the form, everyone is covered. If consent wasn't logged, the hair doesn't enter the chain. The system protects the salon.
